In this resource, I have created ‘stop and think’ cards that I use on learners to remind them on certain aspects when they have been given a writing task. Some of these reminders include underlining the date and title, to use capital letters and full stops and to always use their best handwriting. I place these cards on the learners desks which have been taped down so they serve as a constant reminder to the learners :)

In this activity, learners can use their English vocabulary to describe different animals. This is a chance for learners to practice, their phonics, spellings and handwriting skills.

In this activity, learners have the chance to discover qualities of different insects and their different stages of life.

In this activity pack, there is a powerpoint on different animals and how they have changed from an offspring to adulthood. There is also an activity sheet included to allow learners to carry out their own investigation on an animal of their choice and how they change in certain categories. These include their size and colouring.

This is a recipe to recreate a Swedish dessert known as Hallongrotta. This can be used as example of instructional writing and measuring.
